Accessible by Design

DVEC aims to make its digital presence usable by as many people as reasonably possible and has designed the public website around WCAG 2.2 AA as its accessibility target.

What this means in practice

The website is designed with keyboard navigation, visible focus states, semantic heading structure, readable contrast, accessible form labels and errors, reduced-motion support, responsive reflow, meaningful link text and text alternatives for relevant visual information.

Continuous review

Accessibility is treated as a product property rather than a footer statement. Automated checks are combined with manual keyboard, zoom, mobile and assistive-technology review during the release process.
